Sometimes it is better for our clients to resolve credit or personal issues prior to purchasing a home. If that is what you need to happen, contact one of our agents to assist you with learning the details.
We can help you with locating a local mortgage professional that will review your credit and create a plan. After you begin working with them we will assist you with discovering how long you will need in order to be able to obtain a mortgage. This can usually range from three months to six months to even a year.
We could also arrange what we call a delayed closing where you negotiate the purchase price, and instead of closing in 6-8 weeks, extend it further. There are fees that may be required by your mortgage company to lock in your interest rate, however. There is usually a non-refundable deposit since the owner removes the property from the market.
